Teaching Team

Since opening the first Puddleducks’ there has been a strong emphasis on building quality teaching teams for the centres. The additional centres have provided an opportunity for our staff to develop into early childhood professionals with specialist skills in areas of individual strength. This provides programmes to be developed which can be instigated in all centres with monitored quality control.

Our staff currently numbers 68 with an exceptionally high level of retention. Our team includes 38 Qualified Early Childhood Teachers, 13 "In-Training" Teachers,  2 overseas qualified teachers, 5 classroom relievers and support staff, 6 Catering/Housekeeping staff, Administration Assistant, Maintenance/Handyman, a Business Director and a Human Resource Manager.

Many of our staff have joined Puddleducks' through referrals from existing staff and through recognition of the emphasis on experience, qualifications or commitment to training. New staff are incorporated into a team where experience, skills and personalities are blended to provide an effective teaching environment.
